A Middle-Eastern grocery market on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn Heights.  The store is small and cozy, with some items offered from barrels and sacks sitting on the floor, or large jars and metal trays on the countertops.  Helpful service and excellent prices, and sometimes free tastes and samples.

What's great:

A large and diverse selection of Middle-Eastern foods and ingredients including dried fruits, nuts, grains, olives, feta cheese, honey-soaked sweets like baklava, and more. 

What to know:

Unlike Sahadi's across the street, which is a better known market, Oriental is conveniently open on Sundays.
