One of New York's most-loved chocolate shops where proprietor and chocolate maker Kee Ling Tong makes her extraordinary truffles, each by hand.

What's great: 

The chocolates are made fresh daily and if they sell out, they sell out.  They favor unusual and more savory flavors such as dark chocolate with smoked salt.

What to know: 

They also make excellent cookies, including macarons.  They sell some products online and ship when the weather isn't too warm (this is chocolate, after all).
